On this episode of the Zombie Grrlz Horror Podcast, we do a deep dive on… wait for it… shark movies. Ugh, I know, I am ashamed of me too. But the gang is all here to talk about killer fish with our reviews of Bait (2012) and The Meg (2018). We talk about the joy of dumb monster movies, why shark movies can’t be PG-13, and the great cinematic mystery that is Julian McMahon’s eyebrows.
We also get very grumpy about the end of Game of Thrones (yes, we are still pissed off about it) and Avengers: Endgame. But don’t worry it’s not all impotent fan girl rage, we also give plenty of love to What We Do In The Shadows and One Cut of the Dead — and a whole lot more.
So, did these movies reel us in? Or were they just so much visual chum? Listen to Zombie Grrlz Horror Podcast Episode 62 to find out!
